Use these configuration settings to set up UAConnect365 email on your smartphone or tablet.
All UA employees, student workers and DCCs with UA NetIDs are required to complete annual security awareness training. Follow these instructions on how to enroll and complete the training.
After you are enrolled in NetID+, you can generate bypass codes to use as a second factor of authentication. Bypass codes are useful when traveling—especially during international travel, when cell phone carriers may charge additional fees for calls and texts.
Student workers who need to share calendars, delegate email or calendar, or share IM with career staff can be provisioned with a UAConnect365 account called Catworks. Their email address will be <netid>@catworks.arizona.edu. Please read and follow the directions completely before requesting an account.
NetID+ is the University of Arizona's two-step authentication solution provided by Duo. Two-step authentication adds an extra layer of security to your accounts by requiring:
- Something you know (e.g., username and password)
- Something you have (e.g., second passcode, mobile device, etc.)
Enroll multiple options to ensure you have the means to log in!
Complete instructions and training links are available for easy setup.
- Visit the NetID portal and click Manage NetID+ in the middle section.
- Log into WebAuth (since your DUO Push is not active yet, you may need to have it call your phone to let you in) and choose Manage your Account.
- Find your phone under My Devices.
- Click Re-activate and open DUO on your phone and choose Re-activate next to University of Arizona. Note: It may not show this Re-activate, but instead show Add Account. Then choose scan QR code.
- Scan the QR code using your phone on your computer screen and you’re all set.
Note: This only works if the new phone is the same phone number and type (iOS/Android) as your old phone.
